The Students
The Science Shop provides research information to community service organisations in the greater Waterloo region. It is operated by University of Waterloo graduate students who have the skills to find, evaluate, and summarize existing research findings.
The Faculty
University of Waterloo faculty serve as volunteer advisors by providing advice, training, and mentorship to Science Shop students and staff.
Community Service Organisations
Community service organisations use research evidence to assist them in developing competitive funding proposals, improving the effectiveness of programs, and assessing the impact of their efforts. The Science Shop is dedicated to providing organisations with the information they need achieve these goals.
